The vision for 31tenMagazine came purely out of a need. It's creator, Evangelist LoVetta I. Jenkins, is an avid reader. After pouring over tons of magazines, she noticed that there was a lack of Christian reading material that was geared towards her regional and demographical status. After a lot of prayer (and fasting), God gave her the wisdom to start her own publication. The name itself was truly God-inspired. While driving in her car, she heard the name "31ten" in her Spirit. When she got home she opened her Bible to Proverbs 31:10 and it read: "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies." That is what she wanted this magazine to portray. Virtuous women as well as Mighty men.
God directed Evang. Jenkins on who to have work with her on His project and this union has proven to be nothing but blessed. With the blessings of her church family at Fellowship Tabernacle Christian Center C.O.G.I.C. where Elder Kenneth Eldridge is Senior Pastor & Lady Dione L. Eldridge is Co-Pastor the magazine has truly prospered.
